My symptoms are usually tossing and turning alot and needing to clear mucus about once and hour, also I tend to sleep for much longer then usual and I wake up tired even tho ive had 10+ hours sleep.
I ve never had pain before but that could be a symptom, our symptoms seem to differ form one CFer to the next.
hope you get some relief soon

I'd wake up in the morning with headaches or be fuzzy headed in the morning. I didn't feel well rested. It would take me AGES to actually feel ready for the day, like a few hours.

I didn't realise these were symptoms at the time, but I guess when my pfts dropped to mid 20s-30s my team did an overnight oximetry/SATs test and saw that my sats were dropping in the middle of the night so I was started on 1L over night. Over time this went up to about 3-4L.

Good luck.

I first started with feeling extremely fatigued despite the fact that I might have slept 12 hours the night before. Then I started getting headaches - ranging in severity - first thing in the morning when I would wake up. After a few weeks of that I started waking up a LOT in the middle of the night gasping for air and feeling as if I were suffocating. I didn't think anything of the first few symptoms but asked for an overnight oximetry reading with the suffocating issues. When I had the overnight oximetry they realized I was desatting into the 70s while I slept.

I would talk to your doc about it - it wouldn't hurt them to do an overnight oximetry reading just in case. Then you would know for sure.

I know its a little after your appointment but I haven't been online - sorry

yea, i noticed the headaches first, a constant throbbing the entire day... i read about high co2 levels causing headaches on a cfers blog so at my drs. appt. I told him that and (my local pulm I see in between big cf clinic appts) and he dismissed it as tension headaches b/c of the way I described the headaches... i dont know what made him decided to do the sleep study but we did it. I was only dropped to about 89% average so I started at 1.5L, I havent had a recent one done but have had some pneumothorax issues so Im on 2 L almost 24/7 now and my sats are about 93% before falling asleep with o2. I might need to raise it now that I think abou it or get another study done with o2.

In retrospect I noticed I had been sleeping like 12-14 hours and was still feeling super duper exhausted. Im not sure why, since my sleeping sats were barely below average, but I think I need more sleep anyways.... I never developed the gasping for air, or having dreams aobut being suffocated until I was on a trip for two days and I chose to leave the oxygen concentrator at home and I had dreams about drowning, it was kinda weird.
