how do I make those little smiley faces show up?

I can't make the faces show up. I click on the left side where it reads symbols. Than I try to copy and paste the faces but they won't paste. What to do? What to do?

First of all click on 'Reply' when you are in 'Reply to message'. When you are able to type in the white box you will see 'Select Emotion' - click on that and Bob's your Uncle. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
