How do I tell?

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I've just started college and making all new friends and am wondering how I should bring up the fact I have cf...You see Im not at the wheelchair-o2 dependent stage but am also not at all at the stage where I can get away with hiding it either. I mean my lungs are pretty crappy and I missed quite a bit of school last year.
Its tricky because all through primary and secondary school, I knew a lot of the same people, who told other people about it but here Im on my own, so I guess I have to step up to the plate. I have told people before but I dont even know how to approach the situation. Any advice is greatly appreciated,

Just be open. If you are around someone and start coughing, use that as an opening. Say something like, "this CF is getting to me." Then they will either ask or you can explain. Hope this helps a little.

I say just be yourself. =-) If you don';t feel like being open about it, then just don't worry and the time will come on its own. =-)

Really, i think i've spent way too much time stressing out about how to tell people in my life, and in the end it's always the same; The subject just brings itself up without any help from me at all.

I've always said it very matter of factly if I start coughing a bunch, "Oh, I have cystic fibrosis" Some people know what it is and others don't. Everyone who knows me knows I have it and it ain't no thang!
