How do you attach pictures into your posts?

I have been reading other posts which show adorable pictures of some of the people on the board and one CFer and her horses. Thought that was neat and wanted to attach a picture of my kids to my posts, but can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone help me?

I'm with ya Becky- I want to know too. I know you need to start by downloading your photo's onto www.photobucket.com, its free and really easy to use. From there you can post them here, B-U-T..I think you need a special layout for the URL and I don't know what that is. Someone tried to explain it to me once and I couldn't get it. I never have any trouble posting pictures on forums but this one has me stumped. If you figure it out please post it. In fact if anyone can please make a thread for it, that way I won't miss it. lol
I'll try to find the thread where someone attempted to show me how. If I find that I'll post it here.

ok so lets see if i can explain now that i have been messing with it for a while.... you get a free acct from photobucket.com and you add pics.. at the bottom there are 3 address's you need to copy the middle one its something like IRC............ copy the whole addy and go to your profile and put that address in your signature box.. then whe you post the pic comes up on its own



btw this is caleb 3 wcf..... YEAH even though im blond i can still figure it out...hehehehe

I don't mind pictures being in posts and stuff, and I'd post some myself if I had a few worth posting ..but I've seen some on another forum that are just....humongous I think some of those are distractions. Just my own thoughts.

You might be copying the wrong code. You also will need to resize most pictures. I use this site it is free too http://www.solisstyle.com/ims/login.php. You upload the pics click on resize(I do 30%). Click on get code copy and paste the top one.

I think the pictures should be as big as you like...after all they are all of our little sweethearts and i do not feel there are a distraction.I love looking at them they are all so so beautiful

However, I cant seem to figure out how to do it...and yes i am blonde!!!!!!

I used this site and it worked. Just copy the code it gives you in the signature box in your profile.

Copy the 'Tag' not the url or img and paste it into your profile (if your using photobucket.com), it has to be in your profile/signature. I get easily frustrated with this stuff too.lol
