How do YOU know?

Thanks everyone!

I probably should have done a seperate post regarding inflammation cause it seems that is mostly what people are talking about and my bigger question had to do with the IV meds.

Anyway, with regard to asthma, I DO have asthma. I am treating with advair, singulair, extra xoepenex, etc. These drugs SHOULD be helpign with inflammation. I've been on them for YEARS. I also do most of the thing suggested in your previous posts, Nightwriter. Not all, but most. I am also on acid controlling meds (high doses) every day and avoid spice, etc. Unless its something outside, I cannot figure it out. We've lived in many cities in the past several years and since getting here 3+ years ago, I've been sicker than usual and on IV meds more often AND not getting very good results. Therefore, I personally think if it is asthma/allergy related, it has more to do with WHERE I am than WHAT I'm doing. Just my opinion.

Thanks again for all the input! I may put the first part of my question in a new post if this one gets too much on the ashtma/allergy track, since that isn't really what is concerning me right now. I know they all go together, BUT the IV meds are what have me "panic-y" right now and since I've ALWAYS gotten results in the past, this is new to me.

Thanks,

Hey Sonia,

I just want to say i hope you start feeling better soon. It can be very discouraging when you dont see some the improvement that you are used to seeing, or get sick while still on meds

Come on Sonia, give me one more shot at allergy and asthma.

If your health changed when you moved, obviously that is affecting you. I live in smoggy L.A. Smoggy days kill me, even in the house. Houses aren't hermeticly sealed. When I go up North, I feel great, especially by the beach. My doctor would like me to move there, but I can't. And you probably can't either. I can go on about how location can exacerbate asthma and allergies, but I will be quiet now.

To Jdubbs: I have never taken ibuprofen. I'm curious why you ask.
