How do you respond to IV treatment

Just curious about how people respond to IV treatment. When I started I was producing lots of mucous and coughing a lot. 3 weeks in and I barely cough and have very little mucous (usually only comes out during treatments). Is this normal? It feels weird for me to not have much "gunk" to cough out, and I think I'm convincing myself that I'm sick/congested because I barely cough anything up.
So basically, how do your lungs respond to IV treatments?

I used to respond like you do, after a few weeks, my lungs would be "squeaky clean" if that makes any sense....my mucous would be clear and not so sticky, my cough would be better, my fevers would be gone and I felt like a million bucks. Lately, it hasn't been that way. Granted, I do improve....after about a week, I do notice that my secretions are less and the color is better but I just don't bounce back like I used to. After my IV session, I feel better but my low grade fevers are there and it just doesn't take long before my lungs start to get all cruddy again.
From what others have told me, they seem to experience something similar to mine....after time and multiple IV rounds, it just doesn't cut it like they used to.
Sounds like your therapy did the trick on you

It takes me a few weeks after a tune up to get back to a "good place". Course, I am not a spring chick no more and that might have something to do with it.

For me, it depends on how sick I am when i start on IVs. If i am just sick enough for a tuneup then i feel awesome after a week or two on them. If i am alot sicker than normal then it usually takes the whole 3 weeks to feel better. Either way, by the end I have alot more energy, cough alot less, and feel cleared out. Although no one enjoys doing IVs, Im always a little excited when i have to do them because I know i'll finally feel better when they're finished.

Usually when i start im already a mess, so the first days a cough a lot. I feel im coming down with a flu, my doctor says its an outburst but i think i am coming down with something (maybe due to the emotional stress of going to the hospital etc) Usually after the first week i feel mush better and after im done with them i almost dont cough at all which is amazing. I wish it lasted longer.
