I want to be remembered as a grandma and mother who loved her children and grandchildren to infinity and beyond, who was also a good and loving friend to all who knew her, and was once loved by a wonderful man.

I guess first off I dont want to be remember for the guy that had CF!!! I wanted to be remember for that guy that help his friends and family out when they needed it day or night, who always said something to make u laugh, but at the same one that u could talk to and would not have to worry about it getting around town.

When my son was little my mother always sang the song "Joshua fought the battle of Jericho" to him. When he was fighting for his life at the end, my mother was by his bedside singing that song and crying. So when he died we put these words on his headstone:

Joshua fought the battle...

I am sure he would want to be remembered for exactly the things we all remember him for: He was one of the most caring, generous, thoughtful, funny people we knew. He always put others before himself. He was definately a fighter!

I would like to be remembered as being a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandma (mima) sister, aunt, neice and friend. For being a good listener enjoying life and for my great rice balls and seafood bisque. And most importantly being grateful to God for it all... Joni 54 y/o w c/f

I want to be remembered as a good role model who inspired others to live a good life. I want to be able to inspire my students (when i have a classroom of my own). I want people to say "I wanna be like her." I wanna be known as someone who fought for herself and overcame the odds given to her. I will fight till the bitter end and hopefully inspire someone to fight for themself along the way. I want people to remember that I was also a caring and loving person who accepted others no matter what, and cared about others like I do myself.

As for my gravestone, I like the quote in my signature also. The song is a country song by Gary Allan called 'Life aint always beautiful....but its a beautiful ride.' Altho, that isnt a very good quote for a gravestone, its a very inspiring and nice song. My second choice would be "always lived life to the fullest" i guess. There are so many songs, that I love for this sort of thing (like inspiring i mean, not that I think of death often), but I cant think of them right now.
