Amy, I didnt purchase the dr report, but it doesnt say anything about a ranking as far as I saw.

How does your Cf Hosptial/Doctors rank?

Hey guys,
I was just at our annual CF Foundations meeting and the head CF specialist from University of Michigan said that by the end of this year all of the rankings will be posted on www.cff.org.
They will post all of the averages from each clinic.
This will be very interesting to see where everyone ranks.

It was the board of directors annual meeting..It was at a families house. I guess I was there because I'm on the board and I recieved the award this year because I hit the $100,000 mark for fundraising. I wish our chapter would do and update or something to bring families together more.
Dr. Simons was the speaker...do you go to UofM?? I am going for my first clinic visit on October 5th, going to see Dr.Sisson. I am kinda excited and kinda scared..I've been at Children's in Detroit for 24 years.

how did you like the doctors at Childrens Hospital in Detroit. My granddaughter was just transferred there from U of M she has seen the doctor once and has an appt. next week. Has anyone else changed clinics from U of M and Childrens in Detroit and if you did what was your reason. My daughter was having some problems with the receptionist relaying messages to the doctor and the dietician not calling us back but othert than that the treatment there was fine but so far my granddaughter has been quite healthy only hospitalized once for severe acid reflux at which she has pretty much out grown she is 15 months old now so far not any lung problems. I know she has the delta f508 gene and I'm not sure of the other one most of her problems are digestive but at this point she jsut takes enzymes with each feeding

Hey there. There are 2 CF doctors at Children's; Dr. Abdulhamid(Dr.A) and Dr.Toder (the woman). I really really liked them both a lot. I had been through 2 or 3 other docs before them and they all have been great.
The CF team collectively is great there. Jen is the dietician and she does a great job. She's young and very interested in helping the kids.
*Deb Hachey is the CF Nurse and I suggest you build a strong relationship with her. She really is the best. She gets whatever you need done as soon as you need it. Be it prescritons refilled, your child is sick and needs to come in, you need to talk about CF or just anything!
Also if you are going to see a Gastro dr at Children's I reccomend you see Dr. El-Baba..he has been mine for like 8 years and he really is one of the best doctors I have ever had.
