How far in your pregnancy did you go?

Since we did IUI we pretty much know the exact date that conception took place. Going off the conception date I would be due on Feb 9th. At our first appt last monday the ultrasound measured us as being due Feb 12th. I asked if there was any concern that we are 3 days off what we know and the nurse told me not at all, that this is going off ultrasound waves that bounce off the fetus and its never exaclty accurate, which made me feel much better. So I am 9 weeks according to them as of friday.

I think this first appt was a kind of intake appt so it pretty much was basic stuff, the pap, the blood work, and the going over my meds and information. I am classified as high risk due to it all but I guess right now only being 9 weeks and the ultrasound looking good they are not really treating me any different then any other pregnant person. My next appt is aug 4th and we will have the next ultrasound. Also on that appt they will be doing this special ultrasound in which we will have sent blood in to a place and it will be a 1st trimester screening for downs syndrome and tri 8 and tri 23.

Now along with the CF I am factor 5 liden so I am taking lovonox daily and I am factor 11 so I bleed alot. She told me that they plan on having even bleeders do vaginal birth and not a c-section like I had thought due to the bleeding.

Since the IUI I have lost 5 pounds and I am having alot of trouble with morning sickness so I am kind of nervous about the weight and keeping myself healthy with my cf. I am on zofran and phenegren and those dont even help much I still get sick so I am just hoping that it goes away soon.

Where would I find some ideas of these good high protien foods? I am taking boost daily and managing to keep that down. Also where is the belly pic thread? :0

Since you mentioned losing weight, I just wanted to add that many women (CFers and nonCFers) lose weight during the first trimester due to morning sickness. Hope it goes away soon so that you are feeling better. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

You can pull up old threads using the search box. I'll bump a few for example. Give it a try! There's a wealth of info available in previous threads. For example, you could learn what other cf woman have written in their birth plan. That hasn't been discussed in a long time and many other topics that may cross your mind. Search before you post. Sometimes there's already a post with your question. You can resurface it and add it it!

I definitely lost weight in the first trimester due to morning sickness, so expect a little bit of that. I think I lost 6 lbs.
