how many enzymes?

hi i'm frustrated about enzymes shes 18 mnrhs old and weighs 25 lbs 3 oz shes always backed up and has a huge belly. the gi drs had her on 4 pancrease mt 4 caps per meal now they uped it to 5 per meal and she is hardly pooping and her belly is the biggest its been in a long time i put her back on 4 caps per meal starting today and gave her extra miralax . is there anyone else out there that has a toddler around that age, what type of enzymes do they take ? and how many per meal do u give them? i would really like to see what others do , my daughter eats 3 meals and 1 -2 snacks that usually don't require enzymes . thanks so much

Ellie also has a huge belly (she looks about 5 months pregnant), but I'm not sure that it's not just "toddler belly." My older daughter (no CF) had the same thing at that age ... skinny little arms and legs, but a big 'ol belly. Ellie has never had constipation issues, so I'm afraid I have no information there. I hope your daughter gets some relief soon!

My son is 12 months and takes 3 Creon5 and 1 Pancrrecarb with formula 4 times daily. He also takes 2-3 with food and snacks about 4 times a day. His belly is also bloated but he doesn't seem to have any problems with bowel movements. I suggest calling his GI.

My 4yr old take 5 creon10 every meal and snack. He has problems with blockage and takes miralax. My 2yr old also takes 5 creon10 each meal and snack. They both are 40 pounds. 5 small meals 2 snacks a day. My youngest has a huge stomach all the time and he is still always "soupy" in the bm department. Hey do you give meds before after or during meals? Try only giving 3 then if the food is on the grease side give 4. That always worked for my boys.
