my daughter is one we opted not to get the rsv this year due to the exposure of the clinic but the stipulation is no children under 10 until may so now I feel guilty

Our daughter had the RSV shots for the first 2 winter seasons. She will be 3 in January so she won't be getting the shots this year. She did have her flu shot though.

We never got the RSV shots as we do not vaccinate. I know of several people who did and still got RSV so don't feel guilty. Vaccination does not give a guarantee of immunity to the disease.

DS got the synagis shots his first year from age 5 months to 10 months, during RSV season. His doctor felt it was important because he went to daycare. A coworker's newborn grandson (non-cfer) got it and he STILL has breathing issues because of it. Ended up in the hospital for several days...
