I am having such an issue with the military and meds. As of now I am having to use 3 different pharmacies and Im losing my mind keeping up with everything.

I use CF services pharm b/c its the only place I can get like pulmo, HS, pari neb cups, and vitamins

Then I use the base pharmacy for my creon, albuteral, singular

And now I am going to have to use walgreen for symbicort

and then I have prevacid..they I can either get from CF or walgreens and Im just not sure which would be better to get it at...

I was thinking of moving all the meds from the base H to CF pharm BUT the down side is that I would have to pay the co-pays and If I get them from the base they are 100% free.

I really just don't know what to do...

I have had horrendous experiences with CF Services Pharmacy (even though I've given them chance after chance after chance).

Billed for the full cost of Pulmozyme 1 year after I ordered a prescription; shipped to the wrong address; shipped the wrong med; on and on and on.

We'll see how long this post lasts here since it appears CF Services has "partnered" with this site.

But I would do anything to have 0 co-pay for my meds. Tough decision.....

I use mail order pharmacy for all of my meds except Pulmozyme - believe it or not, with my plan, Pulmozyme is cheaper if I order it retail rather than mail order. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

We're fortunate in that our local pharmacy has been able to get almost every thing for us in a timely manner. The exception was when there was a shortage of adeks and aquaadeks vitamin drops and when DS was on the tobi foundation program.

Then we dealt with an online mail order pharmacy; however, it was VERY frustrating dealing with billing issues -- sometimes they'd charge my credit card other times they'd send me a bill -- then I'd end up with a credit with them because I got over charged. And with Tobi, I'd just about have a nervous breakdown because we'd order the tobi over the phone as per the program, we'd be told it was processed/shipped, only to find that it hadn't been. A couple of times we had to start DS' tobi late. Add to that phone calls and emails not returned. Haven't done mail order in a few years so not sure if they've changed. When we ordered online things were fine, but when we had to deal with customer service reps, we had issues.

Have you spoken directly with a pharmacist at the base pharmacy to see if they can get these items for you? IMO, would think it'd be much more convenient if you didn't have to deal with multiple pharmacies...

Wow so far I have had a good experience with CF pharm. (knock on wood).

The base pharmacy is AWFUL! I wait in line for over an hour then even if I precall in a refill they will ALWAYS tell me come back next day. O and then I specifically called them and asked if they had symbicort and prevaid they said YES to both of them, then the doc called them in...only in the end to be told they can't fill them UGH! And then they do 90 day supply which is fine, BUT they always short me on enzymes b/c they can't get it right. For some reason 6 with EVERY meal confuses them and they can understand why I need so many enzymes...ugh!

Yeah 0 co pay is nice, the other place is only a 3 or 9 dollar co pay (except for the vitamins for some reason they cost me $22???
