How many pillows?

I sleep with two pillows to prop me up due to hemoptysis sometimes, and I also have a body pillow that I "cuddle" for support during the night.

Two, but only when I actually sleep. Most of the time I crash in a chair or on the couch, against a wall on long nights. I'm not very picky.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I have 2 pillows ... I criss cross them and lay my head at the part that they cross. It isn't THAT elevated really ... ust a bit more than a pillow really as my pillows are nice and worn in. I think of it as getting me head in a good position with my neck (so my neck isn't bent or "kinked" upward or downward due to too much or too little pillow).

I do pretty much the same thing. I sleep mostly on my stomach with my head turned. I usually have my arms crossed under the pillows. Having my arms outstretched like that keeps my torso stretched out making it easier to breathe. Nothing's foolproof though. If I'm having a really tough time, I sleep sitting up in the recliner.

I used to have a papasan chair, and I slept in that thing like a bird in a nest..lol

My father fixed the frame of my bed so the actual whole head of the bed frame is elevated.... I sleep with three additional pillows under my head, some under my knees and one behind my back.. ( I sleep on my side.)

I love pillows...

I use a wedge with a down pillow on top of it. The wedge gradually lifts my upper body up, rather than just my neck. It's much more comfortable than when I used to just have 3 pillows.

I have a wedge pillow also. Got it from a health catalog ( Dr.Leonards i think it is) I use that with a few pillows on top of it, and i have been doing that for 4 years now ( since my second embolization). I also like to sleep on my side, but i favor laying on my right side.

For me, it's always been a few. I have one of those bulky pillows with the arms on either side, then I have two regulars. So 3 total, but the big one kind of counts for more than one. *shrug*
