How many times has your child been in the hospital?

Maci was diagnosed at almost 2yrs old with failure to thrive and was admitted upon diagnosis. She has done very well until this year, she was admitted since august of last year every 8wks for 2 to 3 wks at a time. We did not know what was going on, we took her to the Minnesota clinic because we were desperate for answers, they took her off of hypertonic saline and she has been doing great since. We have been without a hospitalization for 6 mos now. We live in Texas, they put her on hypertonic saline in august of last year and that is when it all started. I think some people do really well with it and others cannot tolerate it. mom to Maci DF508 and W1282X

Emily is 7. She was diagnosed at 4 and has been hospitalized 5 times--three times for lung infections, once for a bowel obstruction, and once for a series of tests for acid reflux problems. Her lung function has dipped to the 80s when sick and stays around 118 when not sick.
