Sounds like she needs more enzymes. DS is a little older, but started taking 5 last year and is now up to 7. For the first time ever in his life he's had normal looking brown poo. Otherwise it had always been yellowish, greenish and not as firm.

OK, so the dietician said to increase her to 2 creon10's with meals and 1 with snacks. It is a struggle getting the one in her no matter what I mix it in because she holds it in her mouth and doesn't swallow it down right away. I tried the straw trick to make her swallow it whole but she left it in her mouth and bit it. Any other tricks for getting them to swallow the capsules?

go up to the top of the page (you'll have to hit the back button if you can see this message first) and it has a thing to search, just type in swallowing enzymes, its been brought up before and many people have posted a lot of good ideas. i seem to remember something about a cup designed for getting them to swallow pills.

my son is pretty good with taking his enzymes. we just empty the caps in his mouth and he drinks them down with some water or milk. he is also 3, newly diagnosed. he takes creon 6000, 2 with meals and 1 with snacks. he is also taking ADEK and vitamin d. may want to check with your nutritionist before you make any changes.
