how often do you vacuum?

we don't have carpeting except in the bedrooms, just area rugs. We have 2 chihuahuas, they don't shed much.

I usually only vacuum once a week. I sometimes wonder if its better to just have that dust/allergens in the rug, instead of spreading it all through the air. The vac does have a hepa filter, but it needs to be replaced.

I have been wondering the same thing........We have hard wood floors, except for a huge area rug my husband bought for lil john to play on in the living room. I vacuum every morning before lil john plays on it. We have an English Bulldog "George"........His hair sheds all over the place...Ahhhh...But, we love him. I'm cuious to what others say.....

I know that sounds like lot but that is what you should base it by...

I vacuum at least twice a week so I am overdoing it but.. I don't care..
