How to do nebulized treatment while camping

We are planning a camping trip and I'm wondering how everyone deals with doing their pulmozyme treatment while on the road or w/out access to an electrical outlet? We are still pretty new to this and I know that there has to be a way.

Not that we go camping much, which we did...but for times that we are without electrical outlets for whatever reason, we have two portable nebulizers. One is battery powered and the other has an adapter for the cigarette lighter.
You can sometime get them on ebay really cheap.

i also use a portable nebulizer.  it has a chargeable battery,
a cigarette lighter adapter, as well as an interchangeable plug-in
for electrical outlets.<br>

the other thing i have done is gotten a converter (truckers use
them a lot) that plugs into the lighter adapter in your car.
the converter has an electrical plug-in that you can then
just plug your regular nebulizer into.

We haven't gone camping, but we have a power inverter, which plugs into the cigarrette lighter in the car and we plug DS's pari proneb plus into it for tobi treatments on the road.

My suggestion get a potable one they are almost always covered by
insurance. Mine cam with a battery, and a cigarette  adapter,
and a plug. It is also about 1/4 the size of the other and only
like 1lb

Which compressors are you using? The nebulizers aren't the issue, but from what I read on a post in the adults forum, different compressors vaporize the medicine in different size particles or something to that effect and with a lot of the cf drugs, you need the smaller particles that are only provided by a few compressors.

While the technical answer is of value, I'd also just like to know which compressors you have been using and if you have found they're effective in getting the drug administered?

We used to rent a portable nebulizer when we would go camping. I can't remember how much we would pay, but it wasn't much at all. Just go down to a medical supply place and they should set you up.
