I'm in Houston...preparing for Hurricane Ike <img src="">

fortunately I just finished TOBI and don't have too much pulmozyme on hand. Any suggestions for keeping my pulmo cold? All stores were sold out of ice, so we are freezing blocks of ice in plastic containers and I guess I'll keep them in a cooler when we lose power?

definitely not looking forward to the whole *no power/water* deal...

First of all be safe during this thing.

Second, as for Pulmozyme, keeping it cold is going to be tricky if you don't have power; however, you can have it at 'room temperature' for 24hrs per the mfg before it needs to be discarded. So keep it cold and leave it alone, it takes a long time for ice to thaw if you keep the fridge/freezer door closed.

BUT, don't accidentally freeze it (happened on this site earier this week ~!@#$%)

Might be a little late for Ike, but I've seen cooler pack / mini fridge things for cars and boats and RVs that plug into the cigarette lighter to keep them cold. ~Juliet
