Funnily enough, I thought of this when DD was diagnosed. Don't know what made me think of it...haven't heard of anyone trying it for CF. Have you?

Kind of related (but not really) there was a big article in our paper recently about a place having a Salt Room - it had inches of salt on the walls and basically was just very salty. Good for people with allergies and I think maybe asthma (can't recall that part) - think it said respiratory. I was thinking about whether it would be good for CF. I always am more concerned about who else has used it. This would probably keep me from doing it. Has anyone heard of Salt Rooms?

Not about salt rooms, but there was some suggestion that people who surf or spend lots of time in salt water, have better lung function. Our docs had us nebulizing hypertonic salt water.

I have been wondering about HB chambers. Research time...

No, I've never tried it, but I've recently heard wonders about it, but nothing specific about cf patients. It's too bad it might cause a collapsed lung....
