ok aside from the fact that the term just sounds.......wrong does anyone have any experience. They ended up doing a biopsy so that cant be a great sign.

From my reading it means an excessive amount of blood was in the tissues and it is associated with gastritis. This portion is normally associated with H.Pylori which I tested negative for last month.

I got the test because my acid reflux is only able to be controlled by 30mg prevacid twice a day now and thats with watching what I eat etc.

The plan was to make sure all looked good on higher dose and then proceed but just to make sure the higher dose wasnt keeping something at bay that was problematic. We were looking to protect my lungs and make sure A-ok for future pregnancy.

I Had H.Pylori several years ago. I was tested for it at least 3 times before it was finally caught. So if your symptoms continue don't give up testing!

Even tho my H.Pylori is gone, I still need Prevacid 30mg twice-a-day, plus I take 150mg Zantac daily & also Maalox. I've never had any drug reactions, but I still "burn" badly sometimes.
I've always had a biopsy taken when I've had a bronchopsy. My biopsis have always been ok.

Hope you get things sorted out soon!!
