Hypertonic saline (hts) & electronics

My laptop bears the brunt of my nebulizing entertainment, and it holds up okay with me blowing salty air into it EXCEPT
1) when I leave it in front of an open window on a humid day
or
2) when I bring it to my IL's beachhouse where the ambient humidity is super high.
My husband says that in high humidity, the salt is liquifying and screwing up the electronics. So in these situations, the laptop spazzes and the keyboard barely works. Sometimes, the whole thing doesn't work at all. I've learned that if I keep it running/hot, I can sometimes "fix" the problem.
So I'm trying to avoid using my laptop while nebbing, but I'm worried about my other electronics. At the beach over Easter I played with my phone while nebbing (a Droid) and the screen was reactive for a couple days.
Does anyone else experience these issues? My husband and I have determined I have some inherent ability to break electronics, so maybe it's just me. Also, if you have had these problems, have you come up with any fixes? a big clear bag over your laptop with holes for your hands??

I'm on my third laptop since 2001. Many of the problems I have had have not been explanable and the tech's always say things like "we've never seen this happen before." All that said, they never comment on the appearance of salt crystals...I don't know if they exist and it's my little secret LOL! My 3rd computer had to have a few major components replaced.

I use my computer during every treatment and haven't had a problem yet. Some people say to wipe down the device after your treatment, but I've never done that.

Thanks for replying. I get the salty screen too, and good point about ventilation. My laptop's issue has confounded tech guys as well, and my husband stays conspicuously silent. Since getting one set of new brains for my laptop, I don't think I'm eligible for the service plan--either way all other repairs have been done by my husband (mystery part, new keyboard, new screen--that last one was from trying to work while playing wii tennis with my son and punching out my screen, not a proud moment in parental multitasking). Anyway, I don't think there are visible salt crystals when my husband opens the laptop, he just assumes that it since salt's all over the screen. He said something about "hydrophilia"--the salt is pulling moisture from the air. I'm not the science half ;-)
I guess the takeaway for me at least is get the full service warranty if I'm going to continue nebbing while on a laptop. Or move to a dry climate.

I've had bad luck with optical (DVD/CD) drives in my computers going bad. I suspect it has something to do with the nebulized meds, especially the sticky antibiotics. (I don't use HTS.) I now use an older computer in a different part of the house from my newest system when I'm doing nebs.
