I think you need a prescription, I get my 3% from the pharmacy. I get most of my stuff through CF Services Pharmacy but I was able to get it from my local pharmacy too.

Are you asking about the saline solution that is like sea water. I ask because one of my highschool teachers sent me an email about an artilce that he had read about how surfers with cf were doing so well. They were breathing in Sea water while they were surfing. It was helping their lungs. The article explains the 7 percent sodium chloride solution.....hypertonic saline works to get more water in the lungs so that we can cough the junk out of our lungs. According to the study that was done it actually works. I can't really do the article justice. You can find this article at CNN.com.
