I enjoy a good Joke..But...

I think people take everything way too seriously. It seems like everyone is looking for a reason to be offended and to protest.

I don't get British humor myself, but I don't care if someone makes jokes about CF. I'm sick of this hyper-sensitive culture we live in. I think it has a lot to do with Western economic prosperity and people have too much damn time on their hands.

I didn't really find it offensive. It wasn't about CF really. It was more of a commentary on how low politicians will go these days. I think if anything it might make someone else decide to look up CF and find out what it is if they don't already know. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic. But I didn't know who Gordon Brown was and that video made me take the time to look him up.

I watched this last night. I thought it was weird and goofy. Anything to raise awareness for whatever they are talking about. I doubt that Americans would be that creative. Then again Howard Stern and Tom Green has raised many eyebrows. The song is anonying and catchy so it is designed to irritate and make people laugh.

It was probably written from a standpoint of people who know nothing about CF, and probably don't know anyone with the disease either. finally got my speakers connected. i thought it was lame. i understand he was trying to poke fun at politicians but he did a poor job of it because he ended up insulting his son instead.
