These guys are all right, we all go through it sometime or another. Faith was so sick this year that I really felt like I was losing it. I even cried in front of the doctor, a lot! She even said that she never saw me like this. I'm usually an upbeat lady and try to look at the positives, but let me tell you, it has been a tough year!

I with Erin, without prayer and God in my life, oh honey I just can't tell you where I would be. We only found out about Faith almost 2 years now and she's 11. She's been in the hospital 8 times, contracted a mycobacteria, was on home IV's for almost a year and contracted c-diff. Now, we're back to a semi cf normal routine. Meds and pt! Whew!!

Coming to this website is wonderful because no matter how many close friends and family you have, they'll never understand like these guys!

Good luck and we know what you're feeling!

It's so wonderful to see the lovely postings..I have been having a very hard year with my daughter, Claire. I get sad a lot lately..I guess it's really just not staying in the moment and projecting to the worse possible end. It's great to be reminded that just for today she is doing pretty good even though she's in the hospital AGAIN. She's getting out tomorrow, just in time for our trip home to Texas to see my family. We've had to cancel this trip 3 times this year because she always got sick right before it was time to go. I'm so grateful that they're letting her out in time even though we'll be going on IV's, it's better than not going at all. Sometimes my family in Texas look so concerned about her port and IV's and all the stuff we do and that makes everyone a little uncomfortable, but to us, it's just another day w/ this disease. Claire is 10 years old now and it's starting to really take a turn on her..I am hopeful that it's just been a bad run of catching viruses that went south on her and not the beginning of a downward spiral. We have to stay positive!!

Thanks to all of you brave parents out there and other CF'ers.
