One thing I like to stress because we are considered an orphan disease. Sometimes because CF doesnt affect "enough" people compared to cancer etc so I like to throw out the statistics on who can be carriers.

If you have 29 people in the room (going on caucasian statistics mind you) that one of them could very well be an unknown carrier AND they could easily hook up with someone that is a carrier from another group of 29....

Just a thought to expand it to the general population also~
