I got my settlement...

So, I sont know if people remember me talking about the Idaho Grass burning litigation... where farmers in washington were burning kenutcky blue grass... Well as you hear... we won our case and I just recieved a check yesterday for $7,900 which is a little lower than what i was hoping to get since I had to stay sooooo many days inside when it was soooo smokey i couldnt go outside... But, its some money to help out with my losses!!! There were just under 100 Cf patients in the area and we got to split up the $300,000.... (i know from the lawyers that some people were lying about their cases and got lots more money but hey at least i can say i didnt screw anybody out of their money....) So i am happy that i recieved it yesterday!!! I was just wondering if anybody else in here was in that case???

We lived in Pullman Washington during the time frame, but we didn't get notified of the settlement in time and when we applied to join the case it was too late (life sucks sometimes). Mark had to redo 1 entire semester of school because of it. That right there was $3500 out of our pocket....

Glad you got your settlement though!!!

Yah the only way i knew about the case what from my grandmother... So thanks to her huh!!! That sux, i should have came on here soooner with the case, im sorry!!! I didnt get much but it still helps out!!!

Don't apologize, it's not your fault <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. I just don't know how the lawyers decide to notify people..... Oh well.

I'm glad you got it! I now live an hour north of Spokane but just moved here 1 year ago-so I obviously wasn't living here when that all happened. I read about the case in the paper last year. I am glad to hear that it did really happen and that people are getting their money!
