Hi Tara83, welcome to the sight. I find it so helpful and like you, I had no idea so many women with Cf were having babies...LOVE IT!! Ok...rubyroselee...I was not on ibuprofen "treatment", but I did take about 800mg on average twice a day for my sinus headaches for years!! Like you, if I didn't take it I was miserable!! So, I stopped cold turkey and switched to Tylenol rapid release. It took about a week for my body to respond to the Tylenol, but eventually it did. In the past, tylenol nver worked for me. My lung function decreased a little during pregnancy, but they expected that from all the hormonal changes and eventually the baby pushing up on my lungs. After I had him, my PFT's went way back up and right now is the first time in 4 months that I've been sick, so that is good! My Cf doc told me some women do great (even better) after having a baby, and others go down hill fast. Looks like I'm doing better!! I never had any side effects from all the ibuprofen (not yet anyway!), and once I had my son, I went right back on it, but not as much. Now I only take 600mg once if day if I absolutely need it. It is safe to take while breastfeeding. Hope that helps. Feel free to PM me with any further questions.

Thank you! Glad to hear you did well during and after the pregnancy.

And glad to hear that people were still allowed to take Advair during pregnancy.
