eeep i know the feeling. i used to have to take it and my face got all chubby on the side and i was sad because of it haha. buuut i ended up not wanting to eat with it...weird i know..

I hate it too! it makes me crazy and they always put me on it in the hospital so me stuck in a little tiny room and on prednisone is not a good combo. It makes me not want to eat too cuz it sends my blood sugar super high like 400s

Yup. I have one advice for people around me when I'm on prednisone. Stay away. And if you have to come and do something in the hospital room, toss a chocolate bar my way, do it fast, then run.

haha yes @april that was clever and funny!
I have never (thankfully) been on prednisone, but I have done Megace a hormonal steriod appetite stimulant, and even just that will give me some wild mood swings!

Prednisone always kicks my butt and surprises me with its inventiveness. It's always some new weird way to be annoying or hurt.
Half the time I make the mistake (and I emphasize, on a clinical level, the MISTAKE) of ditching the horribleness before the prescribed dosage is through. The only thing worse than prednisone is prednisone withdrawal.
Always dial down just like you dialed up.
