Your correct! As most of us know, the disease changes. I was born with CF, sick until I was three, then ok basically until I was 16. So, you are right!

Vasiliki, if both parents had CF (two genes with CF mutations) then any child would inherit one gene (with CF mutations) from each parent = two CF mutations = CF
