I have so many questions, can you help?

I will definitely check to see what genetic test they did and will request a full panel if it comes back negative on the most common gene panel. Should I also request a repeat sweat test if the first genetic test comes back normal?

We just got the results back from the genetic testing and it states that "The individual is negative for the 42 Cystic Fibrosis mutations below." This is great news, however the test does state that a negative result does not rule out CF. I hope that this means that his chances of having CF go down. I am cautiously optitmistic, and hope that if it is not CF, they find out what is wrong and will be able to help him. We go back to the Dr. on Feb 3rd to review all the test results and I will keep you all udated. Thank you all so much for your support!
