While waiting for DS diagnosis, my MIL mentioned when her nephew was a baby he had copious, foul smelling, yellow foamy stools and that her SIL didn't know what the heck was going on. The doctor told her to give him banana flakes -- sorta like rice cereal. And apparently that did the trick. He apparently still has some gi issues which they never really figured out. Figure it's probably an allergy.

DS DID for the first time ever have some yellow foam in the toilet a couple weeks ago. My MIL didn't realize pumpkin seeds have fat in them and let DS graze on them all afternoon. Ugh!

My daughter with CF has had the "floating pieces" in the stool, and has had some foam. I wouldn't call it alot of bubbles. But enough that I noticed. She need to increase her enzymes. After the increase in enzymes, she hasn't had it anymore. Also, once she went to a birthday party and got into some chocolate caramel candies and then had the same experience in the stool....the floating fat pieces and bubbles. I did notice that when she had it she seemed to have more gas. Hope this helps!

Like I said before, I have a hard time not feeling guilty coming to you all, because my daughter's problems pale in comparison to what many of you go through daily, but may I say again...thank you so much for taking the time to give me your input.
It has been a long, frustrating, "many years-long process" of no answers.
Missa, thanks for laughing with me, and the wonderful compliment about motherhood.
Liza, you are always out to help other moms new to this forum and I'm sure you are much appreciated. We've tried to find food correlations like crazy, and I see no pattern at all with different food sensitivities. (Other than too much fat.) Thanks so much, though, for the suggestion. I'll still keep it in mind and play around with it.
Boman, I hope you don't mind - I sent you a pm.
To all of you CF parents, I say this again...your children are in my prayers at night! You are a wonderful group of people and you deserve the best possible for your kids.
