i need to gain weight

When I was in college I went from 98 to 115 by getting on birth control. Not sure if that is something you want to do or not, but nonCFers say it made them gain weight, too.

My 23 yr old daughter has a hard time gaining and keeping weight on. She is also a very picky eater, mostly chicken salas corn, things like that. We did find however that she likes chocolate Boost Plus 360 calories in plastic bottle not can, and Myoplex bars, choclate chip and chocolate brownie ones. Both I think have 290 0r 330 calories she only likes myoplex. With each meal or after she has a boost and at least twice a day has a candy bar. She also swiched from ultrase to creon and gained . When she came home froma hospital stay she was about 82 4 weeks later she had gotten up to 90lbs. Which for her was quite a bit she actually had to go out and buy new pants from girls size 12 to 14

i recently lost alot of weight do to cf and other problems. i found that skandishakes work well just ask your cf doc about them they are made for cf patients.

I go to where the fat people are and I eat what they eat:


1. Mexican Food (lard + carbs)

2. Starbucks Fappuccinos (calorie BOMBS)

3. McDonald's double cheeseburgers (a la supersize me)

4. The candy isle at the store (lots of calories & sugar)

5. Sodas (Type II diabetes isn't just for adults anymore)



But bottomline line carbs + sugar will most likely pack on the pounds the fastest.
