So for those of you that work out, can you give me some song suggestions?

I have 134 songs on my iPod and already bored with them.

I'm sure you guys agree - when you have good songs, it makes all the difference in the world in a work out.

What are my fellow CFers listening to on their iPods???????

THANKS

What do you like to listen to when you work out? Fast paced? Chill?

What kind of music do you HATE? That's important. I might opffer suggestions after that

Well, I figure others will read the thread as well and maybe will pick songs for themselves, so i don't want to limit the post to just what I like.

But as workout stuff, I generally like fast paced stuff. I'm not a big fan of country, but I like every other type <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks guys.

And yes, Metalica is a good idea! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

SexyBack by Justin Timberlake gets the booty moving <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I also like Evanesence (Call me when your sober is my current fav.)

I also recently downloaded some good ol' songs from when I was young like Bobbi Brown...very fun.

I also really like the Daughtry album (the guy from American Idol)--maybe not the best cardio music, but good for intervals or strength.

I dont have an iPod, cant bring myself to spend that kind of money on something I probably wont use much. Sadly I still burn CDs. Anuyway, I take notice when I am in the car driving around, the songs that make me tap my foot or finger to the beat. Songs I turn up. I have a list for a new excerise CD. I have stuff listed like : Fergalicious and London Bridges by Fergie, Da Club and Candy Shop by 50 Cent. SexyBack and Justin Timberlake. My Humps by Black Eye Peas, A few by the Pussycat Dolls, one by Nelly Furtado, and Remember the Name by Fort Minor. Anything that has a good beat. As Allie said, It really comes down to what you like in your music.

I'm not a fan of Backstreet Boys type stuff, but when I used to go to the gym, I had a lot of that, because it had an easy beat to keep up with. N'sync, all that crap. One of my favorites (beat-wise) was Backstreet Boys' "It's Gotta Be You." The tempo was perfect, for some reason.

Another bunch of stuff that's good for that type of activity is all my punky stuff, like...
30 Seconds From Mars (songs: The Kill, From Yesterday)
Cruiserweight (album: Sweet Weaponry)
Fall Out Boy (any album [Take This to Your Grave, From Under the Cork Tree], but their new one, Infinity on High, is FANTASTIC)
Halifax (album: A Writer's Reference, Inevitability of a Strange World)
Jimmy Eat World (album: Bleed American, Futures)
Over It (album: Silverstrand)
Panic! At the Disco (album: A Fever You Can't Sweat Out)

I also happen to like Breaking Benjamin (album: Phobia). Linkin Park has always been good for me too (album: Hybrid Theory, Meteora).

That should hold you for a little while, assuming you don't hate all of it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
