Hello. I updated above, but to recap - My son's sweat test was 6 on one arm and 7 on the other. I am under the impression that it means he conclusively does not have CF. Am I correct?

His milk scan showed multiple occurrences of relux and slow gastic emptying. There was no evidence of aspiration into the lungs, though. We are seeing the GI doc tomorrow.

That is very good news! From everything I have ever heard it would be very unlikely that it was cf. Thanks for the update. Hopefully the GI doc can help. Sharon, mom of Sophia, 6 and Jack, 4 both with cf

Yeah, even steve from Ambry has been known to say single digit numbers are very unlikely to be CF, so I'm assuming you're in the clear too. If by chance someone has already done the genetic blood draw or still wants to do it and your insurance will pay for it, I'd go for it just because.... otherwise, not to worry.

Thanks for the update - always nice to hear them go this way!

If by chance someone has already done the genetic blood draw or still wants to do it and your insurance will pay for it, I'd go for it just because.... otherwise, not to worry.
