I think I'm going to be the "Grinch" for X'mas

Okay,

Everything has been running really smooth. I have everything done, wrapped, mailed,tee,santa pics, ect. Oh, except I'm waiting on some FED EX trucks, and mail mans..Crossing my fingers. Well..bam a BUMP. My sister called this afternoon and gave me a FYI that her 3 children are sick, and just sound bad as she put it. She informed me she taking him to the doctors to have them checked out tomorrow, and then their off for my mothers for the holiday weekend. That's where my side of the family celebrates. (We do 2 Christmas Eves/ 2 Christmas Mornings) My side/ Inlaws side.

Ahh....okay, I know my head is saying maybe we should skip my side of the families, but my heart says my mother will be so upset. I know I have read many posts like this in the past...But, am too tired to search for them. I have my head full of ways I could save X'Mas..but my mind keeps saying we should skip it..Or just drop our gifts and be on our way. Okay, LET ME HAVE IT..Thanks...

17 month old son....Still no colds/runny noses ect. yet....not sure if i want to start one this week...HELP..<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Ohhh I also got his Synagis shot done last week, and his flu shot was done at the start of fall.....ahhh

If she is having them checked out tomorrow, they wouldn't even be on antibiotics for 24 hours before you see them. Maybe you could call her to see if she at least could get them seen today, so they could be put on antibiotics long enough to make them not contagious.

I would probably not go. Winter seems to be the time of year that colds are the hardest on Marissa. So we try to avoid them like the plague.

I understand the inner conflict...but I am sure your mom would be upset if her grandson had to be put in the hospital.

Maybe you can call your mom and see if there is anyway you can do a holiday thing with her today?

Good Luck...Holidays...and Family...TV show sure are misleading...lol.
