not that im a doctor... but i take tobi which is tobramycin with the nebulizer. I do it for one month twice a day and then skip a month. it seems to be really helpful especially if im getting sick ill start it earlier in the month and it seems to help alot. you should probably just talk to your doctor about it, im sure theyll have an explanation for you. hope this helps.

There's a lot of important information missing. Are you sick or is this a prophylactic treatment? If you are sick are you sure your exacerbation is from a Pseudomonas infection? Is your PA sensitive to tobramycin? Where did you get this Tobramycin?

Typically in the US, it's only distributed in 1.2g for reconstitution or 300mg/5ml. Given your lack of information, I have to say that self-medication is a very bad idea.

Yes you can use tobramycin for injection as an inhalation. My concern is that without a sputum culture, you might be tr.eating the wrong infection (for example if your sickness was caused by Staph).

It sounds as if you don't have much of a choice in the matter. I have to say that I am in no way condoning self-medication, but tobramycin by inhalation is given at 300mg every 12 hours (which equates to 7.5ml of the concentration you have) for 28 days. It's also given through a special nebulizer from Pari because of the high volume of fluid. If you cannot get a Pari neb, you may have to do several treatments through a standard neb. If you do not have 28 days worth do not start treatment, you could become resistant. I wish you luck. PM me if you have any questions or trouble. I can also see if I can get you the correct drug and supplies somehow.
