So I take evrything I need. But i am not able to put wieght on at all. I mean I eat till almost 12 at night and around eight clock in the mornings. Big meals and junky stuff and lots of veggies every kind.can you help me? Oh yeah the docotr got me to try those carnations new drinks that theyhave to perscribe because I cant stand the scandi shakes in anything. so please Help!!! It is appreciated!!!!I am happy to announce that my boyfriends and I are hoping to get married next year. He is very accepting of my problems and strives very hard to be sure I get the medicalattention I need. But there is a few little run in problems we have found. what I wanted to knowis if anyone had the same and could direct me in the way I should go. He makes good money but far away from being able to suport me on his income. we are affraid if he puts me on his insurancethey will deny the claims. I have had adoption medicaid since I was a baby, So I have always had the care I needed. So I thought then maybe they cant say that it was neglected and they know I aint smooching off of them. But if you have CF and got married and delt with any problems could help us out and guide us in the direction we need to take matters or what worked for you?

Dear Michelle,
I too have had some problem gaining weight. I have boost plus drinks that I do everyday. I don't know if you will like them or not. I get them through a hospital at their cost so it isn't as expensive as buying them at the grocery store. AS for insurance problems, well, unfortunately I think we have all had to deal with the growing of age problem. I have certainlty been blessed in this area. When I graduated from College and then shortly after got married I was off my dad's insurance. We were able to put me on a cobra plan under the same insurance for up to 3 years. It was expensive, 500-600 a month but much less than paying for a hospital stay. WHere does your boyfriend work? A year ago my husband started working at the local telephone company where the insurance is a blanket plan. They had to take me on as long as I already was covered before that. Does that make sense? I have also heard that you can get on some insurance and as long as you don't make a claim within the first year they won't consider it a pre existing condition, it's worth a shot. I did that with a supplemental insurance so now everytime I go in the hospital we get paid money in our pocket to help with medical bills and such. Let me know if you have any further questions.

here's something my nutritionist told me once... with big meals try taking half your enzymes at the beginning and half in the middle or end. Otherwise the enzymes might just only digest the first part of the meal. =-)
