A friend who is an RT sent me this article. I used to attend the Children's hospital in Denver and was treated by Dr. Frank Acurso. He's brilliant and here's proof.

Nice article. As to his discovery: the following link contains this segment:
" What percentage of the CF population has the G551D mutation?
Three to four percent of the cystic fibrosis patient population has the G551D mutation."
