Well the only reason i mention it is because... I have been very prone to sinus issues and have been diagnosed after having an mri scan I believe it was with chronic sinusitis. I get a cold and it tends to the majority of the time turn into an infection. I never take decongestants because I can't breathe... I drown in the conjestion. I always take antihistimines to try and dry it up so I can at least function while sort of. I had whooping cough as a kid and was diagnosed with asthma. Never really had any weight gain issues have almost always been overweight and am about 5'9 so growth wasn't a problem, was diagnosed with failure to thrive or so I have been told but for unrelated issues. So I don't know it just occured to me that maybe there might be a link although my carrier testing came back without any genetic markers for the 97 mutations it tests for. Any opinions would be apprec. thnks much MLAG

Baylor in Texas tests for 150 (think it's Baylor). and maybe it's 125, but its more. also, get the sweat test. but i'd guess that if you are overweight, it is probably not cf.

I also wouldn't rule out the height either. I am 5'9 and have Cf. I was finally diagnosed at 15 after being told i had asthma, allergies to my pets, and was in the clinic every other week with a cold or some sort. Good Luck! Get a sweat test.
