I'm a little worried here

Well in january I was having chills and night sweats. I went in the hosp the first week in feb for pneumonia in my lower r lung mainly. Just this weekend I had a little sweating at night and am having a little chills in the day. I had a sore throat a few weeks ago but that went away. I am still on IV antibiotics, tobra, meropenum and vanco. I am wondering if whatever I have or had is getting resistant to them. I have PA, and also have mrsa. My mucous was succepptible to most of the iv antibiotics, and some oral antibiotics. I haven't had my pft's or xray for 2 weeks, but the pft's then were higher them they've been in a while. I also am up about 20 lbs from admision weight a month ago. Wondering why I feel crappy sometimes I also get a pain in my r lung, feels more like a plug pain. I have been doing my vest 2-3 times a day, all my nebs, and everything. I feel good otherwise, but not as good as earlier last week. I did over due it a little this weekend, I did a side job (4 hrs on sat), then went to a friends for dinner on sat night. Also I don't have time in the day to get enough sleep. I watch my kids in the day, and work in the evening, only time to myself is when they take a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon, and when I some home from work, but I do my tx then. This sucks. Any thoughts? I go for a followup on wed, and x-ray on tues night. I'm betting the xray isn't much better. Lastly last night I had a fever of 99.5, highest was 100.5, but all day today I have been in the 97.5 range. I always expect the worse though. Had to vent sorry. Sarting to get a little depressed here, as I have always bounced back from being sick, this winter sucks too, im ready to move to arizona.

Hi Kevin,
Sometimes no matter how well we take care of ourselves, CF just has other ideas. It sucks out loud to not be able to control it. It's perfectly reasonable to need to vent about what's going on. I hope that no matter what, you'll be feeling better again soon. Winter time is hard for a lot of us, not only for infections, but for getting the blues. Try not to let yourself get too overwhelmed by all of it. Chances are you'll bounce back from this one too.

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. Keep us updated, okay?

Thanks, I'm trying to stay up beat as much as I can.
heres a little update:
The home care nurse wasn't supposed to come this week because he was figuring that I might have my pic line out wednesday, but the way things are going I am thinking th at the Dr's gonna keep it a little longer so I had them come to change the dressing (it was starting to peel anyway). The homecare nurse thinks its sinusitus, I am having a dripping feeling in the back of my throat and I have a little pressure in my forehead behind my eyes. Temp was 98.7 this am and I didn't really sweat at all last night. WHile the nurse was here it was 100.9. So no clue what they'll do really. I guess it depends on my xray too. Gotta love CF...
