remember i always said i would do anything for a baby. well last night at one in the morning i went to the er over a severe back ache to see if they can give me something. Turns out im pregnant. im so happy and my bf proposed to me were telling our parents over dinner tonight at a china buffet.

ANY advice from cf mothers to me would be greatly appreciated!

wow - cool - did you ever find out why your eyes were yellowing - I hope you get in with a high risk OB soon to make sure your health routine is conducive to a healthy prego, etc.

Advice huh.....dont tell the parents while they are eating won ton soup! HA....seriously congrats & getting feedback from the CF doctor & whatever OB will be handling your case is a good start. Get their opinions & info to pass along to the friends & family. I hope your parents were more receptive then my Mom was, but my bros/sis/friends were fantastic! Congrats, Good Luck & Here we are off to follow another Mommy to be story!

Aw, I'm so happy for you Betty. You must be flying high!!
Enjoy your pregnancy every step of the way. You're really lucky. My advice to you would be stay in touch with the website as much as possible. You'll learn alot.

And hopefully if I have a good egg and hubby has good swimmers....you and I will be preggin together! lol. So we'll learn at the same time.

Keep your eye out for Kim, she's on the site here and she is a wealth of knowledge about cf pregnancy. She has a 17 yr old son, and she 41 I think. She's done really well. And of course Melissa. There's more I just can't remember right now!

Congratulation!  My advice as a cf mom is enjoy, enjoy,
enjoy!!!  Do what you need to do to take care of yourself and
take one day at a time.  Before you know it you will be
holding your little treasure in your arms.  I am very excited

Congratulations!!!!!! I have CF and I am a mom to a 5 year old. All i can say is enjoy every moment of your pregnancy.(achs and pains and so on.) I loved being pregnant. A awesome feeling. My medical care did'nt change much. I took better care of myself. Good luck.
