Actually, I'm leaving at the buttcrack of dawn tomorrow to head over to Pullman, where Mark is graduating. It's about a 7hr drive, not so bad but tough for me to be in the car that long right now. We won't be back until late Sunday night so you'll all get a break from my presence.

I'm also leaving... To go to another wedding tomorrow. And then to go to NJ for a concert on Saturday. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

Oh and PS... that car ride sounds really gross.

hahaha, I have enough problems, don't need that one too.

Yeah, em, it's a long car ride. Usually somewhat fun because I have mark to make it creative and memorable. My mom likes to "focus on the road" as she says so I'm kind of bored and in my own world. Plus with my stomach growing like it is, it won't be comfy either. I never before understood why pregnant women held their backs or waddled... now I do. Have fun at the wedding!

I'm leaving too. My Uncle Ed is dying of cancer. Have not seen him for a couple of years. I'll be going to Placerville to say goodbye to him. Have a great weekend everyone.

not that anyone cares where i'm going--lol--but i'm going to the mountains this weekend! first tonight i am throwing my good friend a "bon voyage" party--she is going to malawi (africa) for the summer. then tomorrow todd and doc and i load up and get outta town. need to get there by 2 in order to see GAME 1 of the ROUND 2 carolina hurricanes play-offs!! we are going to see bob dylan/merle haggard in asheville tomorrow night. THEN, we are going to try to take the dogs fishing on sunday. i'm looking forward to all of it.

ps--we will drive home monday and monday night we'll go to see GAME 2 of this round of play-offs. GO CANES.

Is everyone going out of town this weekend. I get to go and get my wedding dress fitted. We leave tonight and won't be home until sunday. I can't wait.

We have the 15th Annual Kite Festival by us. Its at our local college. We didnt make it last year, but went the year before. We bring a huge cooler with food/drinks, chairs, kites (of course) & hang out. They do have games, music etc, but you really dont need all that stuff. The have contests. Its very, very community/family oriented. The weather will be perfect!

Hope everyone who went out of town had a great safe weekend. Em, how was the wedding and the concert? BTW, the car ride wasnt too bad, it was nice and sunny for a change and we brought lots of snacks. I only had to stop about 6 times to pee too, so my mom was really happy about that!

How was the bon voyage party Laura?

Liz, did you find an apartment or was it just looking around at this point.

Emilee-are you still in the hospital or are you home yet? Hope all is going well with that and you are home soon, if not already.

How was the festival Melissa? Did Jazzy have fun. I thought Mark and I should do a festival like that this year, but I'm not so sure I'd be the best guest to take along as I can't do too much anymore <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Anybody else go away this weekend? Pipe in, I'm living vicariously through all of you since I am becoming more and more confined to the house, or rather, the courch. Do share your stories <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
