Andrew is scheduled for a liver ultrasound on June 3rd. He has had numerous blood draws this year and all but one of them has come back with elevated levels.
We were called into clinic yesterday for pfts, as Andrew has been coughing up blood again and she wanted to see what his numbers look like. He has been on mephyton for almost a month, since his firt bleed.
Could all of this, the bleeding, the liver levels, etc. all be related to a vitamin K deficiency? Or do these problems sound unrelated? Our doctor really thinks the bleeds are a low tolerance for hts, and it makes sense to me, but something is telling me there is more going on here. Have you ever had trouble with the "science" of the disease vs. your "instinct" about what the problem is? I trust his doctor, very much. But there's a voice inside my head telling me we are missing something.....
