Ok, this church only calls itself a church and it is certainly not a baptist church, if you read on the baptist doctrines and beliefs this will be evident, it is an insult to every man and woman that have ever served in this country's armed forces and a disgrace to all Christians. I don't know of a single church that condones this activity, it is a rogue group of people using God's name to slander the American public and will be punished for their actions, if not by us then by who's higher than us.</end quote></div>

i agree completely!! it makes me really mad that they call themselves a church. they are mainly made up of family members and there are less than 80 of them. they make me really mad though. who in their right mind does crap like that?

"Oh make sure that the steering is checked, wouldn't want you driving into base and having your steering go all wonky on you and accidentally running over some baptist loonies "

i've been tempted to just drive by there this saturday and see what kind of action is going on. i hope every single one of them gets arrested!!! as for the laws on abortion in nc, i have no idea what they are. i will have to research that. i am not orginally from nc, home is where the marine corps sends us!!

today i saw on the news that they are saying the marine has most likely fled to mexico because that is where he was born and he still has family there. once he is caught he will be brought back to the usa, but because of a law or treaty (i can't remember how they worded it) we pretty much have to promise that he will not be given the death penalty or mexico can keep him. that's complete bull crap if you ask me, after all he did kill TWO people!! they also have said that he sent letters to his wife post marked texas, i would like to know what those letters said.

Rape and murder are not finer points but acts commited by monsters with NO moral judgements. Someone's mind must be in a desperate state to be capable of doing either one of these. What is the worst that would have happened to this marine, he would have lost his job, probably his wife, and maybe did 3-10 years IF he was convicted of rape. Now, he has lost his job, his wife has lost him, and he is a man on the run wanted for murder. I feel confident he will be found though.

Ok might i ask that we stop calling these radicals "Baptist loonies"? please? these are not Baptists, no Baptist organisation will claim them they just say they are, they also say they are a church but most of us here will agree that they are not a "church" by the typical standards

hey don't go grill lightNlife, she wasn't saying this was what happened in this case, i believe her words were "on a related but inirect note" a footnote, an afterthought, a post script, i might be wrong but i don't think that was what she was hinting at.

As for that disgrace of a soldier in the United States Marines, i hope you get hit by a bus and die slowly 'cause the mexican government isn't going to help us and if we do get him he'll just rot in prison instead of get what he deserves, old sparky.

Semperfiohana, i personally hope that that the radicals protesting the funerals don't get arrested because the first ammendment gave them the right to protest, even at the funural of one of the brave men and women who gave them that right because if they are arrested, what makes America so great will be destroyed. I certainly do not agree with them, don't misunderstand me; if they showed up at one of my loved one's funural i'd probably be arrested for several counts of asault. As much as i would like it to be illegal, they are completely within their rights to protest as long as they don't disturb the peace, obstruct traffic, loiter, or trespass they are completely legal, just like the people who chose to burn the American flag, the only law they're breaking is arson

Isn't there a group (maybe a biker group of some sort? Vets?) who have been escorting mourners at these funerals, or blocking the view of the protesters at the funerals? Or was that just one funeral I read about?
