Hi all,
Thanks again for the response. Andrew's fever came down early this morning and he is feeling much better. I really think it's a viral thing. The doctor had the extra labs drawn this morning just to be safe. UGH...it's always something, huh?

Lauren, you're not kidding. There's just no good time for CF!

Happy Thanksgiving to my online friends!

I always get a high fever the first 24-48 hrs of IVs. It doesn't matter which meds I am on, or anything. It always happens. Its an immune response. I also get awful body aches-like I can't stop moving my legs bc they hurt so bad, and bad chills. Its just me, not an 'allergic' reaction.
So this is all new to you, its normal to be worried but you sound like you are you are doing everything right. Good mama. Keep a very very close eye on him, like you are doing. And definitely push with the docs! Sometimes you have to call literally all day and harass them. Its not that they don't care but messages get lost, put aside, or docs emergencies come up...keep calling and don't ever feel bad. This is your child! If anything weird happens-don't hesitate to call right away.
