In the Hospital

THanks Guys for the warm wishes and Hugs..Lord knows they warm my heart a great deal.....

SO far I have had my iv steroids, and anitbioitics, Cetaz, Tobra, and Zyvox...

The steroids so far have not made me crazy becuase my wonderful CF team has put me on an medication to combat the steroid effects.. Now I am mostly sleepy.

I am getting CPT 4 times a day which I have never had before in my life.. ONe hour each time.... I seem to get the most out after they are done...

Still mostly of the probleme seems to be that I am not moving air around my lungs... and when I do it is squeeky.....

I am supposed to get my PICC line in today though I do feel special with the IV in my finger..NOT>>>

Everyone has been very prompt, kind and curtious, and I am making fast friends with the nurses..

Last night was really hard on me I had a few gagging and coughing fits that turned me blue..( not a good color for me) but after a few treatments I was better.

Off to be beat... A hospital is no place for rest that is for sure..

Hope you get better soon! And sometimes the long goodbye before a move isn't all that it's cracked up to be -- tends to wear a person out -- the goodbye parties, dinners, trying to meet up with people while still trying to get packed and organized. Too stressful. Take care of yourself.
