You should really be changing your toothbrushes every month. Me, I put my teeth in a glass. I lost most of my uppers when I was 16 playing rugby, I ran face first into someones head, he was running towards me, the combined speed and the resulting collision sent my teeth in all directions. I can laugh about it now<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

I put my daughter's toothbrush on a piece of kitchen roll on top of the radiator (if it is on) to try out, then by the next time she uses it it's dry. Also, I change it at least every month if not sooner.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

I have the Crest Spinbrush Pro battery-powered toothbrush, and I make sure to change the head every month. I change it immediately, however, after getting over an illness to keep any residual bacteria from the infection from re-entering my body.

yes. =-) It's not like I'm drinking the stuff by the gallon, I'm just disinfecting my toothbrush with it. Even then I always rinse my mouth out right after I brush my teeth. If I ever find any irritation on my skin I can simply stop using it for a while (just like antiperspirant, except for different parts of the body).

One thing I want to add, I did not mean to suggest that using hydrogen peroxide or anything else to clean toothbrushes is to extend the life of a toothbrush; it is only meant to kill any germs that may have accumulated on the toothbrush during the day. People keep bringing up that toothbrushes should be replaced regularly, which is something that should be done with or without cleaning.
