Well, let's start from the beginning...

It was about 10:30 when I hopped into my car and started heading towards the clinic (which is about 45 minutes away). I was about 10 minutes into my drive and saw a Dunkin Donuts. Normally, I don't pay an attention, but today I felt like having a Latte. So I went to the drive in and treated myself. I thought, "Well, you never do this. Plus, you have been so good with living on water, Gatorade, and milk that 1 Latte isn't gonna kill ya."

So I was sipping on that for the whole next 45 minutes. Finally, I pull up to the clinic about 10 minutes early (which is a miracle). I'm about 10 minutes late for everything.

I'm nervously sitting there, looking at a magazine. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you what the heck I was reading. It's pretty much a blur.

Finally, I get back into the bloodwork area. This lab girl was most likely no older than 21. I'm thinking, "Great...I'm going to be a pin cushion today..." I have the WORST veins in the world. I showed her the ONLY place where she would be able to get a vein to draw about 7-8 tubes of blood. Her job use to be mine so I knew very well what was going on. After about 10 minutes of looking, she called on the PA of the clinic. Thank God, I wasn't poked. LOL!

The PA came in and was immediately talking and commenting on how good I looked for CF. I was basking in the glory, figuring this could be the best thing about today's visit. She asked me everything and anything. She was fascinated. One of her comments was, "Wow, you look so good for a 25-year-old with CF. At your age, many CF patients are fragile." My response, "Not me. I use to run 2-3 miles a day 2 years ago. Good luck finding another CF patient with those stats."

So anyway, I was then taking to the ultrasound room. This PA was infatuated with me or at least that was the feeling. I soon realized this lady was also going to do the ultrasound - that made me more relieved.

So I go to the bathroom to take the tampon out...Thank God for the small miracles - almost nothing. That was a HUGE MIRACLE for me.

I'm laying on the table, and the PA eventually reappears. Actually, she may have been the female doctor there at the clinic, but honestly, my head was in the clouds. I don't even remember her name.

So she starts the test. Well, this is what we found...

1.) small cyst on left ovary (absolutely no surprise)
2.) 8 follicles in the left ovary
3.) 5 follicles in the right ovary

I HAVE PCOS! So here I have regular cycles like clockwork (every 30 days) and "seem" to OV mid-cycle and nothing. I'M NOT THE NORMAL PCOS PATIENT. HONESTLY, THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE STORY OF MY LIFE. WHO ELSE DO YOU KNOW WALKS AROUND WITH A BURST APPENDIX FOR 1.5 WEEKS WITHOUT PAIN OR DYING???

Towards the end, the third doctor of the practice walks in to "meet me" and also see the test for himself. So I had 1 doctor, possibly 2, and 2 nurses. I had lots of attention...

Both doctors STILL think I have tube issues too because of all the surgeries 10 years ago. Neither DARES to do a laproscopy.

I PRAYING for some miracle that it's just PCOS and not the tubes or my hubby. One thing wrong is enough.

So next week I go for the uterine test and tube test. One on Wednesday, the other one Thursday. Jake also "gives his donation" next week. By the end of next week, we should have a very good idea.

Oh, the ovarian cyst was either a "C1" (whatever the is) or endometrioma. They think it's the C1-thing. So basically, not endometriosis.

Okay, advice, suggestions, please!!! (((HUGS)))
