Good morning everyone.. As you know i work at a doctors office along with several other people that work at other offices.. Here in the indianapolis/noblesville indiana area were are seeing a late outbreak of the flu... In the past 2 days at another office we are affiliated with there has been approx 20+ pos flu's with a handful getting their flu shots... im hoping it dosent find its way to Ashton or any of our other little Cf'ers.. Just wanted to give an FYI... I cant believe how late its showing up!! it just needs to get really cold and stay cold.. It hasent done that here... we are having spring like temps then it gets cold then it gets warm!! Alright talk to everyone later!!

DS's doctor always tries to have us delay the flu shot until November, yet still enough time before Thanksgiving, to get us thru the flu season. He also gives us all prescriptions for tami-flu, so if influenza starts to go around school, preschool our workplace or even around home we can start asap. When DS was a newborn, my intern showed up for work with Influenza A to spread her germs and happiness. Could've strangled her. So my coworkers who opted not to get vaccinated all got it and I filled my script for tami-flu, which wasn't covered under my insurance. Grrr!

We all got the flu shot in our family, but all came down with the flu a week ago. 17 out of 24 kids in my daughter's Kindergarten class came down with it over the weekend. This strain is not apart of the flu shot. Tami-flu really helped. My daughter got over it after a few days but my son is still coughing....
