The past couple days I stopped tobi/pulmozyme as I had a case of hemoptysis... and I noticed my blood sugars during these times were perfect... 4-6 range all day. (Been a bit high the past couple weeks) However tonight I did a tobi treatment, and I just measured my blood sugar (was at 5.4 before) and it has jumped to about 15???

I'm 99% sure I took my insulin with the last meal, but I don't know what could've caused this sudden jump. Any ideas?

I am 41 with CF, along with MRSA & Pseudomonas. I am curious to find out how the MRSA effects you. I also have a port since October 2006. I would love to talk with you more about this, but in private.

If your interested, please let me know. If not, I will understand, because some ppl don't like to talk about their CF.

So far, I only have the markers for CFRD, so I only check my blood sugar about 1-2 per week.

now that i think more about it...
around last year sept. i stopped tobi for a study... blood sugar was perfect during that time... about 3 months... then i got swine flu, and they told me start back on tobi...

ever since then it hasn't been as good. i didn't know if i was still sick, and thats why it was high... i asked my doctors, they said it was probably constant infection. my doctors never said anything about drugs being the cause, but now im gonna stop tobi and see what happens. (didn't do it today, and blood levels were perfect)
